Women’s health – which supplements are important for women?

According to experts care for the health of the cardio-vascular system is probably most important. While care for the health of women is constantly placed low in that classification, even after the care for bone health. In spite of this we believe that no health should be neglected – we have to be equally responsible towards every system in our body. Now we will have a look specifically at women’s health and the supplements that support it.

Multivitamins and minerals

These are the main supplements for each day: multivitamins and minerals. Even if we maintain a well-balanced diet, in many of the foods we take main and vital nutrients are missing. Even in the food we call “healthy”. In most cases this is due to the method of preparation, to the production itself. That’s why it’s important for us to add multivitamins and minerals to our food in the form of supplements.

Essential fatty acids

A compulsory supplement that has to be present in every list – this is the fish oil (omega-3 essential fatty acids). Essential fatty acids are really important – as is evidenced by their name, since our body cannot produce them on its own.

As early as our conception in the mother’s womb, omega-3 fatty acids are necessary to our body. All health experts are absolutely explicit – without omega-3 essential fatty acids there is no way to achieve optimal and regular growth of the brain in newborns. After the birth their importance doesn’t decrease, we need them for the rest of our lives. When the levels of omega-3 essential fatty acids are high our skin looks young despite our age. This affects our heart and lungs in the same way. It has also been proven that omega-3 essential fatty acids can improve our mood. The irreplaceable fatty acids are important constituents of cell membranes which is of great significance for the proper functioning of nerve cells in our brain.

Omega-3 and Omega-6 essential fatty acids can do wonders if you suffer from Premenstrual Syndrome. Try them if you don’t believe it. We cannot enumerate all the benefits of these nutrients.
